Transparency may require a change in language

In the continual pursuit if government transparency, the House is working on a bill that would require federal agencies to use a new kind of reporting language. It's called eXtensible Business Reporting Language, or XBRL. Advocates say it would simplify how the public searches financial information, including money given to the private sector in the form of grants and loans. But what would it take to make the switch? Joining us to discuss is Joe Kull, who recently finished an XBRL research project with Association of Government Accountants.
